Both. Some yards go on a cutting rotation. Some are one visit to bring an overgrown property back to something manageable. That gets priced on what is actually out there, so we look before we quote.
It holds moisture in the bed through a dry spell and keeps the soil temperature steady. It also smothers a lot of the weed seed that would come up. It looks good too, but the reason to do it is the bed underneath.
Usually, yes. We find out why it went bare first, because shade, packed soil and bad drainage each need a different fix. Then we seed or lay sod and set the watering so it takes.
Yes. We lay out zones for the shape of your yard, set the heads so nothing waters the driveway, and show you the controller before we leave. We also repair systems somebody else put in.
Size, slope, how much trimming and edging there is, and how far behind the yard has gotten. A flat lot with clean edges is a different job from a sloped one nobody has cut in a month. We price it after we have seen it.
Yes. Pavers, walls, walkways and fire pits are all hardscape work we do. We grade and compact the base first, because a patio that settles was a base that was rushed.
